LED Lights Can Be Commonly Seen in Our Daily Life

Do you know LED lights? Have you noticed that there have been a trend for LED lighting http://www.ecvv.com/company/foundfar/products.html targeted for general illumination at home as replacement of incandescent and fluorescent lights? Why is that? The reasons for this situation may be caused by the advantages of LED lights: energy efficiency, non-toxic and reduced waste. Different LED lighting types can be found in our daily life.

The LED bulbs must be the most popular LED lighting. An LED bulb or LED lamp is a solid-state lamp that uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as the light source. LED lamps are used for both general and special-purpose lighting. Where colored light is needed, LEDs naturally appear emitting many different colors, with no need for filters. This improves the energy efficiency over a white light source lighting.
Many LED bulbs have become available as replacements for incandescent or fluorescent light bulbs. As of 2010, a few lamps were available to replace higher wattage bulbs. For example, a 16-watt LED bulb is claimed to be as bright as a 150W halogen lamp. Do you know the meaning of this replacement? It represents the efficient revolution of illumination area. A standard general-purpose incandescent bulb emits light at an efficiency of about 14 to 17 lumens/W,  depending on its size and voltage for accurate statistics. According to the European Union standard, an energy-efficient bulb which claims to be the equivalent of a 60W tungsten bulb must have a minimum light output of 806 lumens.

What are the differences between the incandescent bulbs, fluorescent bulbs and LED bulbs?
Incandescent bulbs generate light by passing electric current through a resistive filament, heating the filament to a very high temperature so that it glows and emits visible light. A broad range of visible frequencies are naturally produced, yielding a "warm" yellow or white color quality. Incandescent light is highly inefficient. Why? Because about 98% of the energy input is emitted as heat. A 100W light bulb emits about 1,700 lumens, about 17 lumens/W. Incandescent bulbs are relatively inexpensive to make. The typical lifespan of an AC incandescent lamp is around 1,000 hours. They work well with dimmers. Most older light fixtures are designed for the size and shape of these traditional bulbs.
Fluorescent bulbs work by passing electricity through mercury vapor, which in turn emits ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light is then absorbed by a phosphor coating inside the lamp, so that causing the bulb to glow, or fluoresce. While the heat generated by a fluorescent bulb is much less than incandescent bulbs, and energy is still lost in generating the ultraviolet light and converting the light into visible light. If the lamp breaks, exposure to mercury can occur. Fluorescent bulbs are typically five to six times the cost of equivalent incandescent bulbs, but have life spans around 10,000 and 20,000 hours.

Also, there are many other types LED lights can be found in our daily life, such as the LED tube lights, LED candle lights, LED floodlights, etc. You can't ignore the popularity of LED lamps.   Here, http://www.ecvv.com/product_directory/led.html many LED lights can be found.
