Know Something about Different Types of Bus Services

Do you have any idea about bus transportation? Is it comes later or before the railway transit? And when did the public bus transportation become popular? In my childhood, I ever thought that the buses http://www.ecvv.com/company/shuchi/products.html were magic boxes, they can take people to everywhere. Then, I liked to take school bus to my school during the school age. After graduation from university, I always take a bus going  home. Compared with the years before, buses have developed many different types, sizes, and additional functions. Buses have become an important tool for us to go around. Although there are trains or planes, I prefer to choose buses.

Bus services play a major role in the public transport. These services can take many forms, varying in distance covered and types of vehicle used, and can operate with fixed or flexible routes and schedules. There are different types of bus services, like urban transport, long distance transport, flexible and specialist services.

Urban or suburban bus services is the most common type of public transport bus service, and is used to transport large numbers of people in urban areas, or to and from the suburbs to population centres. These services are often organised on a network basis centred on an urban centre of a town, or across a city, and may involve universal liveries, or specific route branded buses. Express bus services are services that are intended to run faster than normal buses, travelling on faster roads such as freeways rather than slower moving local roads.

Long distance coach services are bus services operated over long distances between cities. These services can form the mainstay of the travel network in countries with poor railway infrastructure.

Buses in public transport are usually run to a fixed route and schedule, serving specified bus stops or bus stations. Some services may be semi-flexible in that they can vary where they stop on a fixed route by operating in a hail and ride manner. The route and schedule of some services may also be flexible to some degree. Another flexible type of service is the Hong Kong red public light bus. Have you ever been to Hong Kong? You can see the light buses here.

About the specialist bus service, school bus services can be one. They transport children to and from school. Many countries and school districts organise their own services. Shuttle bus services are any type of bus service intended primarily to shuttle passengers between two fixed points. These can be bus or coach operated, but are usually short or medium distance journeys taking less than an hour. Shuttle buses will usually link with other transport hubs, such as airport shuttle buses. A common use of a shuttle bus is in towns or cities with multiple terminal train stations or bus stations.

I have a question for you, which is "Do you know where to find amazing buses?", how about this one http://www.ecvv.com/product_directory/bus.html?

Natural Gas Vehicles in Our Daily Life

Have you heard of a sentence that "Food is the paramount necessity of the people."? If people don't eat food, they will feel hungry, and have no strength to do their daily routine. How do you think of this idea? Do you agree? I agree with the point of view. However, here is not going to discuss the importance of food to people. Let's talk the important fuel for vehicles to run. Don't you think that the shortage of fuel for vehicles is just like we people short of food?

The commonly used fuel for vehicles are gasoline, petroleum, natural gas, etc. Here discusses the natural gas vehicle (NGV). A natural gas vehicle is an alternative fuel vehicle that uses compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a clean alternative to other fossil fuels, like automobiles, buses http://www.ecvv.com/product/3173506.html, or other public transport vehicles. Worldwide, there were 12.7 million natural gas vehicles by 2010, led by Pakistan with 2.7 million, Iran (1.95 million), Argentina (1.9 million), Brazil (1.7 million), and India (1.1 million). The Asia-Pacific region leads the world with 6.8 million NGVs, followed by Latin America with 4.2 million vehicles.

The existing gasoline-powered vehicles may be converted to allow the use of CNG or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). An increasing number of vehicles worldwide are being manufactured to run on CNG. The Honda Civic GX is the only NGV commercially available in the US market,  although Ford offers a prep package on certain models. GM do Brasil introduced the MultiPower engine in August 2004 which was capable of using CNG, alcohol and gasoline (E20-E25 blend) as fuel, and it was used in the Chevrolet Astra 2.0 model 2005, aimed at the taxi market. In 2006 the Brazilian subsidiary of FIAT introduced the Fiat Siena Tetra fuel, a four-fuel car developed under Magneti Marelli of Fiat Brazil. This automobile can run on natural gas, the CNG, 100% ethanol (E100); E20 to E25 gasoline blend, Brazil's mandatory gasoline; and pure gasoline, though no longer available in Brazil while it is used in neighboring countries.

What are the advantages of natural gas fuel? Natural gas vehicles and especially CNG tends to corrode and wear the parts of an engine less rapidly than gasoline. Thus it is quite common to find NGV with diesel-engine like mileage, such as over 500,000 miles. Emissions are cleaner, there is generally less wasted fuel, and lower emissions of carbon and lower particulate emissions per equivalent distance traveled. Compared with diesel particulate emissions, CNG is hundreds of times cleaner. There are cases of CNG being dirtier than gasoline, but only in places like India or Pakistan where illegal autos and pumps with unregulated 2 stroke motorcycle engines attached to practically anything and fake fuel are sold.

Natural gas vehicles are popular in regions or countries where natural gas is abundant, where the government chooses to price CNG lower than gasoline. Buses powered with CNG are common in the United States. NGVs can be refueled anywhere from existing natural gas lines.
